Randy James Brandenburg, age 59, passed away January 28, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona.
Randy was born June 6, 1953 in Alpena, Michigan to Forest M Brandenburg and Olive Mazie Abbe Brandenburg. He was raised there and attended schools there. He grew up working on the family farm in Lachine.
Randy enlisted in the US Navy following high school and following his military service he returned and married Sharon Rodmonich in July of 1973 and they made their home in Lachine. He worked farming for years and they later moved to Arizona settling in Wickenburg.
Randy operated a maintenance business for a time and later worked as a grounds supervisor for Rancho de Los Caballeros. He enjoyed restoring antique vehicles and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and being in the Arizona desert.
Randy is survived by his wife Sharon of Wickenburg, Daughters Tracey Waters (Brent Brinkley) of Wickenburg and Brooke Brandenburg of Buckeye, 3 brothers Darrell (Mary) Brandendburg of Detroit, MI, Stanley (Mary) Brandenburg of Pinconning, Michigan and Paul (Jean) Brandenburg of Bark River, Michigan. Grandchildren: Cheyene Evans, Shanntelle Evans, Sierra Waters, Sonoma Waters, Savanah Waters, Jimmy Waters, Estin Waters and Emily & Tanner Brinkley.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Randy James Brandenburg, 59, of Wickenburg and formerly of Lachine, Mich., passed away Monday, Jan. 28 at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix after a long struggle with lung cancer.
He was born June 6, 1953 in Alpena, Mich.
Randy is the son of the late Forest M. and Olive M. Brandenburg of Lachine, Mich. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy as a boilermaker. Following his military service, he moved back to the family farm to help his parents with strawberry farming.
Randy married Sharon Kay Rodmonich on July 28, 1973 in Escanaba, Mich. They moved to Wickenburg in 1984.
Randy worked at maintenance jobs until his employment at Rancho de los Caballeros in grounds maintenance and later working as supervisor.
He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Kay Brandenburg and daughters Tracey Ann Brandenburg (and fianc/ Brent Brinkley of Wickenburg) and Brooke Lynn Brandenburg of Buckeye; grandchildren Sierra, Sonoma, Jimmy, Savanah, and Estine Waters of Wickenburg, Cheyene and Shauntell “Gracie” Evans of Buckeye, and Emily and Taner Brinkley of Wickenburg; brothers Darrell (Mary), Stanley (Mary), and Paul (Jean) Brandenburg -- all of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Forest and Olive Brandenburg, and sister Gayle Liske who passed away on Dec. 25, 2012.
His passion was restoring old trucks. He has finished a 1947 Ford, 1951 Dodge, and a 1960 Ford.
Randy was considered a “Jack of All Trades and Master of Many.” He also had a great love for hunting and fishing while in Michigan.
Randy will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday (Feb. 15) in the Sonoran Room at Rancho de los Caballeros, with visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. and services at 7 p.m.
