Arrangements by Hampton Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, January 31, 2013 Ernest L. Roybal, age 87, passed away on Jan. 25, 2013, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on June 2, 1925, in San Acacio, Colo., to Pasqual and Julia Roybal. Ernest served his country proudly in the Army Air Force and later worked for the VA for 30 years. He loved the outdoors and loved to garden. His family was the light of his life. Ernest was preceded in death by his wife, Frances in 2001. He is survived by his two sons, James Ernest (Dorothy) and John Albert (Kim); and six grandchildren. There will be a viewing from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott. The family suggests that memorials be made in Ernest's name to the Disabled American Veterans, 730 N. 5th Street, Prescott, AZ 86301. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
