Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/01/2013
Glen Seal died Dec. 14, 2012. He was was born May 13, 1931 in Elgin, North Dakota.
An electrician by trade, Glen could build or fix just about anything. He designed and built Kachina Ranch Kennel in Tucson and, with his best friend and wife, Anne, operated the successful kennel for many years. An avid hunter, Glen was also a professional bird dog trainer. His exacting training methods made scores of hunters very happy. Glen loved working in his shop, his creative hands busy with various projects. Glen served his country in the Air Force.
He was a good man, generous with smiles, always eager to lend a hand. First-graders at Blue Ridge loved it when “Papa Glen” stopped by to help them with their reading. They were thrilled when he brought along “Cute,” his friendly hunting dog. Glen’s was a beautiful, blessed journey. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by Anne, his wife and soul mate. They lived, laughed and loved each other for 30 wonderful years. He is also survived by his three children: Dale (Kathy) Seal, Debbie (Joe) Whitmore, and Darwin (Jean) Seal, along with his three grandchildren: Scott, Regina, and Jackson Seal. He also had two step children, David Maurer, Kathy (Jim) Hamner, and two more grandchildren, Cayla and Lisa Hamner and great-grandson Sonny Butler, all of whom he loved dearly.
“Our deep and abiding gratefulness to Bee Hive Homes in Eagar and Hospice Compassus in Lakeside for the wonderful, kind and compassionate care they extended to Glen and the much needed support they so willingly gave to his wife, Anne. Their gentle loving attention to preserving his well being as well as his dignity, in so many ways, will always be a tender memory for our family.”
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Unity of the White Mountains Church, 57 Woodland Rd. at W. Apache Ln., Lakeside, AZ. 85929. (928) 367-0822.

REMEMBRANCE
Tears fall from my eyes
As softly the memories flow
With tears, salty on my tongue.
I miss you so much.
Tomorrow is frightening
Except for the thought
Of seeing you again,
Another time, another place.
I hear your voice;
In my mind you come.
We talk and laugh
About silly, important things.
Each day without you is less:
Less bright, less full ... less.
I feel your love with me,
Yet, I want you to hold.
Faith in God eases the pain
For moments, sometimes days.
Still, I cry, but not for you,
For the loss I feel in me.
