Winifred Thomas Scott died Jan. 24, 2013. He was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Pinedale to Elijah Thomas Jr. and Mary Ann Petersen, the eighth of nine children.
Winifred graduated nursing school in Phoenix, the class of 1942, then moved to California to start her nursing career. She worked for North American Aviation, Dr.’s Gordon Xander and F.H. Kimball and ended her 40 plus years with Boeing in Long Beach. She was married to H.A. Trunnell and James O. Scott.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Kritz (Ron); grandchildren: Tina Zlaket (David) and Tara Carnes; great-grandchildren: Gabriella Castro and Roman Zlaket; and son Donald and family.
She was devoted to her LDS faith.
There are no services as per her request. Internment will be held Feb. 1, at Riverside National Cemetery, with her husband James....she was his “dream girl.”
