The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/01/2013 Solomon Dominguez, 69, resident of St. Johns died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, in Springerville. He was born May 13, 1943, in Concho, the son of Pete and Dolores Duran Dominguez. Solomon was a cowboy and a mechanic. He ranched a lot of the Eastern Arizona area. He worked his whole life since the age of 7. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He loved his family, and his cats and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Judy Dominguez of St. Johns; sons: Solomon Dominguez Jr. of Phoenix; Frankie Dominguez of Mont.; Daniel Dominguez of Florence; Wayne Dominguez of Springerville; Ralph Stonestreet of Fla.; Michael Stonestreet of Idaho; and Matthew Dominguez of Okla.; brother Ted Dominguez of Concho; sister Cora Peña and many grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Nancy Stonestreet. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the church and Interment will follow at the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of St. Johns handled arrangements.
