Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Edith A. Summers (May 14, 1924 - January 29, 2013) Edith Summers, 88, of Flagstaff, AZ passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Edith was born and raised in Flagstaff and was a lifetime resident. She was a homemaker and loving mother as well as a care giver to many. Edith and Wade Summers meet in 1941 and were married. Edith spent many good times with Wade, who was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying many wonderful times together in the woods and on the lakes with family and friends. Edith is survived by her daughters Karen Brewer (Dale Brewer) and Linda Bennett, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren as well was numerous nieces and nephews. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Wade Summers and daughter Sharon Hillman. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mountain View Church, at 2150 E. Linda Vista Drive, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. A visitation will be held Saturday, February 9th, 2013 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Citizens Cemetery.
