WADE, Corinne Marie

The Recorder (Greenfield MA) Saturday, December 15, 2012 Corrine Marie (Deschine) Wade, 88, of Newell Pond Road, died Thursday (12-13-12) at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility. She was born in Van Buren, ME, on June 30, 1924, the daughter of Xavier and Alice (Thibodeau) Deschine. She attended local schools in Keegan, ME, including Keegan High School. Corrine was a homemaker. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Greenfield. Corrine enjoyed knitting, gardening and canning. She especially loved being with her family. Among her survivors, Corrine leaves a daughter, Linda DeCosta of Black Canyon City, AZ, and children, Kendra DeCosta, Kary DeCosta and her husband Josh Routhier, Halley DeCosta and her son Kurtis, and Denie DeCosta; a daughter, Gloria Chagnon of Greenfield; a son, Ken Wade and his wife Lori of Greenfield and children Kelly Sadler, her husband Jason, and children Caleb and Kailyn of Turners Falls; Corrine's caregiver for two years, her granddaughter Lindsey Wade and her fiance Jason Hall, with whom Corrine resided, and his children, Tessa-Lynne and Mitchell; a daughter Anne Rantanen and her companion Frank LaValley of Silver Springs, FL, and children Amber Wade and Spc. Colby Rantanen, U.S. Army, serving in Afghanistan, and Tabitha Rantanen. Corrine is also survived by a brother, Omar Deschine of Hartford, CT; five stepbrothers, four stepsisters, and many nieces and nephews. Corrine was predeceased by her husband, Franklin "Bud" E Wade, on July 8, 2009, and her daughter, Trudy E, on Sept 16, 2009. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Chrissy Sherman and Honeylee Chagnon. Corrine was also predeceased by her siblings, Oswald, Henri-Guy, Gilbert, Adrien, Joseph, Leo, Lina and Eva-Marie. She also had four siblings who died during infancy, Albert, Sylvio, Adhemar and Donat. Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family with a date and time to be announced.
