Martha Elizabeth Eadelman, 81, passed away on April 10, 2004 at home in Litchfield Park. She was born to Ernest and Dora Sampson on February 25, 1923 in Ashtabula County, OH. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Martin Eadelman of Litchfield Park. She is also survived by two sons, Ernest (Janice) of Mali, West Africa and Andrew (Ginger) of Phoenix; two daughters, Faith of Litchfield Park and Joyce Rice (Mark) of Clarkdale; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Martha is survived by a brother and sister, Dr. Harold Sampson of Higginsville, MO, and Dorothy Vice of Tallahassee, FL. Martin and Martha spent 35 years as pioneer missionaries with Conservative Baptists in Ivory Coast, West Africa. Visitation Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Desert Springs Community Church, Indian School Road and Old Litchfield Road, with services at the church Wednesday, April 14, 10 AM. Graveside service Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations on behalf of Martha can be made to Desert Springs Community Church, 623-435-2105 for Eadelman ministry in West Africa.
