SHERER, Marsha Leigh

Marsha Leigh Sherer, age 55, died June 10, 2004, in Scottsdale. A Phoenix native, she was the youngest daughter of Charles and Lois Mickle. A graduate of Scottsdale High School and Arizona State University, she married Doug Sherer (1969). Marsha taught many Bible Study Groups. An avid reader, she enjoyed skiing, golf and the Diamondbacks. She battled cancer with courage, faith and dignity. She is survived by her husband, children Scott (Vicki, grandchildren Alyssa, Gabrielle), daughter Jennifer (Rob), sister Sharon Kiefer (Karl), brother, Wes Mickle (Mary K.), nieces and nephews. The family requests donations in Marsha's name to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. A memorial celebration is scheduled for June 14, 2004 in the Chapel of Scottsdale Bible Church, 7901 E. Shea. Published in the Arizona Republic on 6/12/2004.
