Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Publishd on February 1, 2013 - Carolyn Dodson, 68, of Kingman passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Phoenix. She was born April 28, 1944, in Topeka, Kan., to Paul and Josephine Webb. She came to Mohave County 44 years ago from Flagstaff, Ariz. She was a retired teacher. For 42 years she worked at LaSenita, Manzanita and Cerbat Elementary Schools. She was Teacher of the Year in 1998 to 1999. She was a Sunday School teacher at Calvary Baptist Church. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Shirley Hafley; son-in-law, Leonard Hafley; grandson, Lewis Hafley; and granddaughter, Emily Hafley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell; daughter, Sherleen; brother, Gordon Webb; sister, Joyce Owinges; and a nephew, Rocklin Webb. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, with the service beginning at 2 p.m., at Desert View Funeral Chapel, 2215 E. Northern Ave. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road.
