Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from January 31 to February 6, 2013 - Augustine Medrano, age 63, a lifetime resident of Needles, Calif., passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 in Needles, Calif. He was born May 28, 1949 in Needles, Calif. Augustine was a Custodian for Needles High School. He served in the Army for 2 years as a Specialist E-4. Augustine was preceded in death by parents; Geronimo Medrano and Bernice Armstrong Medrano; and family members, Ernestine Medrano, Doreen Medrano, Laurabelle McCord and Sophie Medrano. Mr. Medrano is survived by his wife, Yvonne Medrano; children, Aaron Kelley, Brandee Cahill, Augustina Medrano, Wilma Smith, Connie Bryan, David Medrano, Ruben Medrano Sr.; grandson, Louden Cahill; and many nephews, nieces and friends. Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. (AZ time) Friday, February 1, 2013, at the Fort Mojave Tribal Gym, 500 Merriman Avenue, Needles, Calif. Following to the Mourning Hall, 700 Harrison Street, Needles, Calif. Burial will be at 5:00 a.m. (AZ time) on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Fort Mojave Tribal Cemetery in Needles, Calif. Service is being handled by Dimond & Sons Needles Mortuary.
