EWIN, William H.

William H. Ewin, 74, of Tempe, Arizona died Sunday, April 11, 2004 in Tempe. 

Mr. Ewin a world war II and Korean Conflict veteran was born in LaGrande, Oregon. 

Mr. Ewin as President of CEA Corp. was instrumental in the growth and development of Global Positioning Systems throughout the United States. He was also a member of the Tau Beta Phi, Phi Beta Kappa, and Masonic Scottish Rite. 

He is survived by wife Grace Ewin of Tempe, AZ, sons Paul Robert Ewin of Pittsburgh, PA and Douglas Ewin of CA; daughter Janet Ewin of Sunnyvale, CA; and Daughter-in-law Tammy Ewin of Pittsburgh, PA. 

Visitation Thursday, April 15 with services at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd. Tempe. Memorials can be made in memory of William Ewin to the Metropolitan Youth Symphony PO Box 41852, Mesa, AZ 85274-1852
