The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/05/2013 Louise Ann (Edwards) Way died Jan. 28, 2013, in Show Low. She was born April 30, 1945, in Whiteriver. Louise is survived by her companion, Nathaniel Tonay; sons: Leno Edwards, Christopher Goodman, Alfred Way Jr.; brother Manuel Edwards; sisters: Anita Cheney, Louise Pinal; daughter-in-law Lavinia Way and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Martha Edwards; father Lenzo Edwards; sisters: Gloria Zahgotah, Martha Moyah; brother Randall Edwards, Phillip Edwards; sons: Lindell Edwards, Lewis Edwards; nieces: Janet Edwards, Ruth Zahgotah; nephews: Preston Cheney, Michael Cheney; brother-in-law Wren Cheney; grandchildren: Jenny James, Elvis Declay, J.R. Moody, and Baby Boy Hill Louise’s body was brought home to Eugene and Alice Josay’s residence Monday, Feb. 4, for a one night wake at E. 503 7 Mile Jr. Rd in Whiteriver. Home services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the family residence in Whiteriver, officiated by Pastor Hazard Walker. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Manzanita Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
