The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona, Thursday, February 07, 2013 John William Montgomery, 54, of Cottonwood passed away February 4, 2013. John was born April 13, 1958 in Inglewood, California. John served our country in the US Army and received the Army Service Ribbon and two Overseas Service Ribbons for his honorable service. He was a fan of both the St. Louis Rams and NASCAR (he especially liked, Carl Edwards). John worked as a Tribal Gaming Commission Agent. John is preceded in death by his mother, Alice Fae Barney. He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanna Montgomery; his children, Jamie (Heather) Fullmer, Jason (Libby) Fullmer, L.J. (Beverly) Montgomery, Joshua Montgomery, and Kaila Van Orden; his siblings, Ruth Ann (Vince) Petter, Elizabeth (Dave) Pace, Patricia Chick, and Jackie Robbins; his grandchildren, Trey, Aliyah, Jason, Jordan, Khaeden, Ian, and Kaylin; eight nephews and two nieces; plus may more family members and lots of friends. A memorial service with military honors will be 11 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Chapel of Bueler Camp Verde Funeral Home, 143 W. Arnold Street, Camp Verde.
