The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, February 07, 2013 Thomas L. Bennett passed away Jan. 30, 2013, at the VA Hospice in Prescott. He was born on Aug. 6, 1926, to Edward and Hettie Bennett in Erwin, N.C. He retired after 20 years with the U.S. Army. He then retired after 20 years with the Alaska Pipeline as a welder. He is survived by his daughter Gloria Jean Martin of Calhoun, Ga.; and brother J.D. Bennett of Pasadena, Calif. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three boys and two girls. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary; second wife Phyllis; third wife Helen; and daughter Gladys Irene Nobles. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at the American Legion Post 40 in Chino Valley. Cremation and arrangements done by Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood.
