The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/12/2013 Anderson Hawkins Sr., 57, died unexpectedly Feb. 3, 2013. He was born Oct. 2, 1955, in East Fork, Fort Apache to Florence Hawkins and Clarence Kessay. He is survived by his children: Dean Hawkins, Terrance Hawkins, McJoey Hawkins and Emerson Hawkins; brothers: Alvino Hawkins Sr., Larrison Hawkins, and William Hawkins Sr.; sisters Effie Dankoshay and Judy Quintero; aunt Evelyn Barbosa and many more relatives and friends. A wake was held Feb. 8, in Upper East Fork at Judy Quintero’s residence. Funeral services were held Feb. 9, at the East Fork Mission Lutheran Church with interment immediately following services at the Dove Street Cemetery.
