Black’s Show Low Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Richard Mata JR (September 11, 1948 - February 4, 2013) Richard Mata JR, 64, passed away on February 4,2013, at his residence in Show Low surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 11, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona. Richard served 2 years in Vietnam with the United States Army. He has lived in Show Low for the past 20 years. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Kathy Mata, 3 sons – Jesten, Caleb and Jacob Mata and 6 Grandbabies. He is a man who will be greatly missed and will be loved and remembered forever. Services were held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the National Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
