Patricia Day Esslinger was born in Tulsa, Okla., Jan. 5, 1927, to James and Bess Day. Deidre Steele Bodger is her only living relative in Windlesham, England.

Patricia passed away Dec. 21, 2012, after being in the Valley Hospital Las Vegas, Nev., for 10 months. She was a resident of Lake Havasu City for 18 years.

Patricia was a professional ice skater, actress, model as well as an executive secretary. She was a star performer with “Holiday on Ice,” “Cavalcade on Ice,” “Ice Vogues” and many hotel shows for eight years. She did film and commercials for Universal Studios, Warner Bros., and Paramount and modeling in New York, Janson/Henson. In Santa Barbara, Calif., she worked for Electron Kinetics Corp., secretary to the president and Hoffman Electronics, secretary to the director.

Patricia was a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, American Guild and Variety Artists. Locally she belonged to the VFW, Elks and Eagles.
