Parker Pioneer, Parker, AZ - Published on February 6, 2013 - Ann Potter passed peacefully away at her home in Mohave Valley on Jan. 27, 2013 at the age of 91. She was born in Snyder, Okla. in her family farmhouse on March 28, 1922. She is survived by her loving husband Wilbert Potter, her soul mate of 80 years; and by her son John Potter and his wife Sandy Potter. Her grandchildren Tracee Haggard, John Haggard and his wife, Candace; Kevin Potter and Melissa Slater and her husband Rick; her great grandchildren Ryan Slagle, Kaylee Slagle, Christopher Potter, Taylor Haggard and Hannah Haggard. She also had many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded by her beloved daughter Sheran Haggard, her beautiful sisters and brothers, and parents and wonderful lifelong friends. Ann Potter was a loving, doting wife, mother and friend. Her favorite time was spent with family and friends cooking and providing comfort to all of us. Growing up in Parker Dam, Calif., was our 'Disneyland,' a magical place. Her husband Wilbert built and worked until his retirement at the Dam along with many family members and friends that lived in that community. They included the Hooper's, Cook’s, Dowdy's, Hines and the list goes on. Such a beautiful life, we were embraced and blessed by her love and devotion. She is loved now and forever. Our lives will never be the same without her. The Memorial Service will be held Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mohave Valley, Ariz.
