Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, Arizona Ethel P. Wright February 23, 1922 - February 9, 2013 Ethel P. Wright, age 90, passed away February 9, 2013 surrounded by her family at her home in Wickenburg. She was born February 23, 1922 in Perth Amboy, New Jersery to Bertel Peterson and Johanna Nielsen Petersen. She married John Wright and they eventually made their way to Arizona settling in Wickenburg. Ethel was very active in the community. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and also a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was recognized for her community service receiving the "Henry Award" She had worked as a secretary in the school system for years. She was preceded in death by her husband John L. Wright and a brother Svend Petersen. She is survived by children Virginia (Kent) Peck of Thatcher, Arizona and John M. Wright of Prescott Valley, Arizona and brother & sister in law John & Shirley Petersen of Perth Amboy, NJ. Grandchildren: Todd Wright, Jarrod Lish, Justin Frazier, Josie Minton, Jonathon Wright, Jeramy Wright, Eric Vanderbloemen,Ian Vanderbloemen and Aaron Peck and 24 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church in Wickenburg.
