HAVEN, Edwin M.

Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Edwin M. Haven (March 28, 1922 - February 11, 2013) Edwin M. Haven, passed away peacefully at the Olivia White Hospice Home in Flagstaff, Arizona on February 11, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born on March 28, 1922 in Santa Ana, California to Lizzie H (Brown) and Archibald Haven. In May of 1958 he married Evelyn (Boe) Haven. In Ju1y of 1964 he and his young family left the Haven Ranch at San Onofre, California to open his business - Hunters Haven in Flagstaff, where he specialized in Gun Smithing. He retired in 2008 at the age of 86 due to ill health. He is survived by his devoted wife, Evelyn and son, David A Haven of Flagstaff and daughter, Nancy J Haven of Camarillo, California - sisters, Ruth Siebers, Hilda (Dick) Halpin of California, brothers Norman of California and Lee of Flagstaff and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Mary, Beth, Annie and brothers Archie, Paul and Ralph. A "Celebration of Life" is planned for later. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northland Hospice, PO Box 997, Flagstaff, Arizona 86002, or your favorite charity.
