The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/15/2013 Joe Miles, 50, died Feb. 10, 2013, at his Springerville home. He was born March 9, 1962 in Phoenix, the son of James Robert Miles and Zoelta Marshall Miles. Joe worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction business. He loved hiking, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed playing his guitar. Joe was a very ‘down to earth’ guy, always ready to help others. He will be greatly missed. “I love you, dad.” He is survived by his ex-wife, Judy Miles; son Joey Miles of Springerville; daughters: Debra Thomason of Mesa and Erin Shore of 29 Palms, Calif.; grandchildren: Daniel and Alex; brothers: Jimmy McCain, Jamie Miles and Johnny Miles; and sister Janice Miles. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Becker Lake in Springerville. A potluck will follow at the “Rode Inn” in Springerville.
