STEVENS, Marjorie (Marge) Joanne

Marjorie "Marge" Joanne (Hulett) Stevens, age 73, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010, at her home in Bullhead City, Arizona, two months after her husband, Ron, passed away. Marge was born in Whitehall, Wis., on January 24, 1937, the daughter of Caleb and Ella Hulett. She was baptized and confirmed at the Upper Pigeon Creek Lutheran Church. She grew up in the township of Northfield in Jackson County, Wisconsin. She graduated from Hixton High School in Hixton, Wis., and has many friends who still reside in the Jackson County area. Marge married Ron Stevens from Taylor, Wis., on September 17, 1955, in Pigeon Falls, Wis., while Ron was in the Air Force. After Ron's discharge from the Air Force, they moved back to Taylor, Wis. Employment gave Ron and Marge the opportunity to live in Taylor, Wis., Sparta, Wis., Thief River Falls, Minn., Spokane, Wash., and Drayton, N.D. In whatever locale they lived, Marge always was employed – in a variety of work experiences. For the past twenty years, Marge was a partner with her husband, Ron, in a contract postal service business in Laughlin, Nev., and Bullhead City, Ariz. She was an active member of the Community Lutheran Church in Bullhead City. Marge will always be remembered as a person with a great sense of humor who liked to pull innocent little tricks on friends and others. She is truly one of a kind who will by missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Caleb and Ella Hulett, brother Donald, sister Shirley, and her husband, Ron. Marge is survived by son, Kevin (Bee Kramar) of Grand Forks, N.D. and children, Tina and Michael; daughter, Kimberly Bauer of Denver, Colo., and her sons, Jeremy and Jason; brother, Ken Hulett; and two great-grandchildren, Khalil Bauer and Zorion Sanders. There will be no service. Interment is along side her husband, Ron, at the Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz. Published in Mohave Daily News Online from October 6 to October 13, 2010
