Joan Marguerite Koellen, 84, a resident of Prescott Valley, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, in Eagar, Ariz. She was born May 18, 1928, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Walter John Franey and Elizabeth Beil Franey.
Joan retired as a secretary from Farmers Insurance. She was a loving mother.
She is survived by her son, John (Rhonda) Koellen, Eagar; four grandchilden, Danny (Anna) Koellen, Jason (Wanda) Koellen, and Crystal and Caitlin Koellen; and two great-grandchildren, Kyra and Kadence Koellen.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, George Koellen, and son, Joseph Koellen.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley.
