Williams – Grand Canyon News, Williams, AZ Tuesday, February 19, 2013 Julian N. Corona, 72, died in his home in Peoria, Ariz. after a short battle with lung disease on Feb. 4, 2013. He was born in Williams, Ariz. to Gil and Julia Corona on June 21, 1940. He is survived by his wife Shirley and three children, Connie (John) Hall and Jim (Rita) Bean of Phoenix and Theresa (Aaron) Gobble of Missouri. Julian had six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Raymond Corona, Camila Lucero, Tony Corona and Louie Corona. Julian attended Williams schools and graduated from Williams High in 1959. He served his country by joining the Marine Corp. Julian loved being outdoors with his family and he loved hiking. When he got the chance he'd travel all over the United States. A memorial service was held at the Vineyard Church on Feb. 9. Julian will truly be missed. He is now wrapped in the warmth and love of God's embrace.
