Virginia Y. (Sanders) Steffen, 90, of Kingman passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in Denver, Colo. She was born June 19, 1922, in Paso Robles, Calif., to Jim and Hazel Davenport. She came to Kingman 19 years ago from Quartzite, Ariz. Prior to being moved to Denver, she was in The Gardens Care Center in Kingman.

She worked delivering motor homes for Winnebago of Forest City, Iowa, and did commercial fishing out of Ketchikan, Alaska.

Virginia is survived by her husband, David E. Steffen of Kingman; daughter, Darla (Bob) Woodward of Reno, Nev.; son, George (Debbie) Hudson of Denver; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

At a later date her ashes will be scattered in Puget Sound.
