The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, November 28, 1971 Prescott - Services for Mrs. Winifred G. Olney, 88, who died Friday in the Marcus J. Lawrence Hospital in Cottonwood, Ariz., will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Ruffner Funeral Home in Prescott, Ariz. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Ariz. Mrs Olney, born in Michigan, came to Arizona in 1924 from Battle Creek, Mich. She spent most of her life in the Cherry Creek and Cottonwood areas of Arizona, until one year ago when she moved to Naturita, Colo. She returned to Cottonwood in September. Survivors include one son, George, of Naturita, Colo., one daughter, Mrs. Jean Sessions of Prescott; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
