Dorothy E. Larson, 82, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2004 in her home surrounded by her family.
Dorothy is formerly from Two Harbors, MN., but has been a resident of Scottsdale, AZ for 22 years.
She was born on March 8, 1922 in Two Harbors, MN, to Charles and Anna Johnson.
Dorothy was a very proud employee of the DM & IR Railroad during World War II, but her greatest joy was being a wife and mother at home. She was a member of the Scottsdale Christian Church.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Lawrence Larson, sons; Roger (Lynda) Larson of Ramsey, MN, Larry (Carol) Larson of Two Harbors, MN, and Kevin (Mona) Larson of Odessa, TX, daughters; Sally (Steve) Larson of Two Harbors, MN, and Kathy (Darren) Sande of Mesa, AZ, and sister; Jenny Hedin of Two Harbors, MN. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive her.
Dorothy's family would like to thank the members of her church, as well as, Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful care. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held in Dorothy's honor at Green Acres Mortuary - Chapel of Light, 401 North Hayden Road in Scottsdale on Wednesday, April 14, 2004.
