Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Brenda Carol Miller Sorensen (October 19, 1962 - February 21, 2013) Brenda Carol Miller Sorensen, 50, entered into rest February 21, 2013, surrounded by loved ones in her home in Snowflake, Arizona. Brenda was born in California, to parents Johnny and Betty Roark. Brenda grew up in Highland California and married her high school sweetheart, Patrick J. Miller, in 1981. Due to his fight against cancer, he passed away shortly after the birth of their baby girl, Megan, born in 1982. In 1988, Brenda met the love of her life, Edward Sorensen. They married a year later on Valentine’s Day and just celebrated their 25th anniversary. She raised four beautiful children whom all loved and cherished her, and gave her six beautiful grandchildren. Brenda spent most of her years working in the medical field, which she loved, and she was very good at what she did for a living. Brenda is survived by parents John and Betty; husband Edward; children Megan, Kristin, Kyle, and Heather; brother Tommy; sister Karen; grandchildren Sadie, jade, trinity, Serena, reed and Dillynn; and son-in-law Dagon Depaulo. She was preceded in death by her brother John Roark and high school sweetheart Patrick J. Miller. Services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 10:00 A.M. at Silver Creek Mortuary in Taylor, Arizona. Brenda was loved and adored by her family and will be missed immensely.
