West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, February 26, 2013 Charles D. Greer, 69, of Avondale died Feb. 20, 2013, in Phoenix, from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Mr. Greer was born March 11, 1943, in Hendersonvill, N.C. He worked for the city of Goodyear for 27 years before retiring. He is survived by his wife, Connie; two daughters, Daphne and Tammy; one son, Charles D. Greer Jr.; one brother, George Greer; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A private service was held.
