Al Copley, 73, of Flagstaff, died Feb. 26, 2013. He was born Sept. 29, 1939.
A funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Norvel Owens Mortuary, 914 E. Route 66, Flagstaff.
Burial, with military honors, will conclude services at Citizens Cemetery in the Veterans Section. Condolences can be sent to www.norvelowens mortuary.com.

Albert "Al" Copley

Albert “Al” Copley, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 26, 2013 in Flagstaff, AZ.
Al was born in Phoenix on September 29, 1939 to Roger “Pat” Copley and Elinor (Wolfe) Carter, the oldest of four children.
He served in the Army from 1963-1965 and spent 2 years in the reserves. He began his career with Custom Roofing and moved to Flagstaff in 1969. He owned and operated Venture Roofing Company from 1974-2005. He was a member of the Doney Park Water Board at its inception in the ‘70’s. He was also a member of the Sunrise Lions Club, the VFW, and American Legion. Al was a Mason and a Shriner. Al loved being in the outdoors, boating, fishing, camping, and hunting. He also loved various projects from rebuilding cars, boats, & tractors to his various toys.
Al is survived by Tammy McCoy, daughters, Missy Branstetter (Jim) and Linda Reyes, brothers Ron Copley (Martha) and Ricky Smith (Bobbie), sisters Trish Ballard, Karen Perkins, and Sharon Perez (Tony) seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Al was preceded in death by Pat Copley, Elinor Carter, brother Jeff Copley, daughter Brenda Babb and grandson Jason Babb.
Services will be held at Norvel Owens Mortuary Saturday, March 2nd at 10 a.m. with graveside services at Citizens Cemetery.
