Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, March 3, 2013 - Robert John Dietrich, 79, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 in Lake Havasu City. He was born July 29, 1933 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Norman Edward and Evelyn E. (O'Conell) Dietrich. Bob, as he was known to his family and friends, served his country proudly in the Unites States Marine Corps for nine years retiring as a Sergeant. He married his beloved wife, Etta in Hawaii on March 3, 1987. They moved to Lake Havasu City 22 years ago, coming from Crestline, Calif. Bob always had a joke to tell. He was a member of the VFW here in Lake Havasu. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Etta Dietrich of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Teri Dietrich, Tammy Mayer, Theresa Burchett and Jennifer Wolfram; sons, Dennis and Anthony Dietrich and Roy Love; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and a daughter, Stephanie Dietrich Benitez. Graveside service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with the Marine Corps League Chaplain officiating.
