Sean David Jackson, 41, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Feb. 25. Sean was born March 4, 1971 in Gouverneur, N.Y. He graduated from Colton-Pierrepont Central School in 1989. Sean served in the Marine Corps from 1989-2004. He found his true calling when he began working at Unisource in 2007. He was a lineman apprentice and a member of the Local Union 769.
Sean married Melanie (Weiss) Nov. 20, 1993. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Margaret Jackson; his wife, Melanie Jackson; children, Josephine (16), Andrew (13) and Samantha (6), all of Lake Havasu City. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael in 2006.
Sean was a loving husband and amazing father. He was also a treasured brother-in-law, uncle, godfather and friend. Anyone who knew him loved him and his loyalty, sense of adventure and willingness to always help not only those he loved but also anyone he saw in need.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the United Way of Lake Havasu City or Toys for Tots.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 2 at Dub Campbell’s Pit at the top of Chemehuevi Boulevard in Lake Havasu City. All who loved Sean are welcome. We will be gathering at 3 p.m. with the service beginning at 4 p.m.
