Mr. Rodriguez was born May 8, 1927, in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Mesias Rodriguez and Joba Rivera. He moved to Arizona 70 years ago and was a farm laborer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Imelda Rodriguez; three daughters, Grace Perez, Rosa Hernandez and Gloria Flores; six sons, Cel, Raul, Rene, Eddie, Jaime and Hector Rodriguez; one sister, Manuela Rodriguez; 27 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a parishioner at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary recital at 6 p.m. Thursday at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave., Avondale. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Imelda Rodriguez; three daughters, Grace Perez, Rosa Hernandez and Gloria Flores; six sons, Cel, Raul, Rene, Eddie, Jaime and Hector Rodriguez; one sister, Manuela Rodriguez; 29 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was a parishioner at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 E. La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear. Burial will immediately follow at Goodyear Historic Farms Cemetery, 3900 N. Santa Fe Trail in Avondale. Funeral arrangements were handled by Avenidas Funeral Chapel in Avondale.
