CHAPMAN, Terry Leaton

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Friday, March 08, 2013 Terry Leaton Chapman, 74, of Goodyear died March 3, 2013, in Goodyear from myelodysplastic syndromes. Mr. Chapman was born April 22, 1938, in Kankakee, Ill. He moved to Arizona in 1987. He was an insurance broker. He was a member of the PebbleCreek Community Church, PebbleCreek Sanctioned Duplicate Bridge Club and Unit 33 Golf Group. He is survived by his wife, Becky Chapman; three daughters, Melinda Walker of Monterey Park, Calif., Karen Baysinger of Buckeye and Suzanne Rodgers of Maricopa; one sister, Jeanne Chapman; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be from 3 to 6 p.m. April 6 at the Eagle's Nest Ballroom in the PebbleCreek, 3645 Clubhouse Drive in Goodyear. The Revs. Neil Walker and Harry Heinrich will officiate. Memorials can be sent to the Salvation Army, 2707 E. Van Buren St., Phoenix, AZ 85008 or the Phoenix Rescue Mission, 1801 S. 35th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009. Funeral arrangements were made by Best Funeral Services.
