Matias Contreras Jr., 70, of Goodyear died Feb. 27, 2013. 

Mr. Contreras was born Feb. 21, 1943, in Phoenix to Matias and Elisa

Mr. Contreras is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary; one son, Robert; one daughter, Margaret; one granddaughter; five brothers, Felix, Frank, David, Paul and Avelino; and five sisters, Tila Gonzales, Anita Murillo, Irene Contreras, Olga Contreras and Rosemary Schatzabel. 

Visitation will be at 9 a.m., with funeral services at 10 a.m. Saturday at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave. in Glendale. Interment will follow at West Resthaven Cemetery.
