Mrs. Garcia was born Feb. 15, 1950, in Tecolotlan, Jalisco, Mexico, to Timoteo Melchor and Maria Rosa Morales. She moved to Arizona seven years ago and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ariel Garcia; two daughters, Natalie Garcia and Vanessa Garcia; one son, Jose Melchor; four sisters, Herminia Sevilla, Juana Naranjo, Alicia Melchor and Luz Estela Melchor; three brothers, Felipe Melchor, Miguel Melchor and Lorenzo Melchor; and four grandchildren. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary recital at 6 p.m. today at Avenidas Funeral Chapel, 522 E. Western Ave. in Avondale. A Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission, 6807 W. Lower Buckeye in Phoenix. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 2300 W.
