Lillie Vieno (Luoma) Downer Born in Finland on July 16, 1915. Departed on April 3, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Ariz. Lillie Vieno Downer, resident of Cottonwood passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the age of 92. She was born July 16, 1915 in Finland; she was the daughter of Joseph and Katerina (Kkoko) Luoma. Lillie worked for the Boeing Company for many years of her professional life. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Downer; her brother, Richard Luoma; and her parents. Lillie leaves behind her step-son, Doug Downer; as well as Kate Roberge and Jul Jaree - all of Arizona. In her memory a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
