Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, March 10, 2013 - Wendy Sue Ayotte passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 53. Wendy was born Aug. 29, 1959, in Superior, Wis., to Robert and Bonnie (Larsen) Olson. Wendy graduated from Superior Senior High School, she then went on to attend Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Wendy and her husband, Jeff, lived in Superior until making Lake Havasu City their home in April, 2011. Wendy loved boating, was a fantastic cook and enjoyed entertaining friends. Among her hobbies were jewelry making and crafts. Wendy was a very giving person and put everyone else’s needs ahead of hers. Wendy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jeff of Lake Havasu City, mother, Bonnie Jean Olson of Superior, Wis.; brother, Scott Olson and his wife, Mary; niece and nephews, Michael, Michelle and Frankie, all of Duluth, Minn.; best friends since school, Julie Jacobson and Dawn Karlon and her husband Richard all of Superior, Wis.; her special friend, Joe Abela of Lake Havasu City and her pets Lily and Sydney. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Olson and grandparents, Peter and Lillian Larsen. A celebration of Wendy’s life will be Tuesday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home with Rev. Carol Sheffield offering words of comfort and inspiration.
