Iva Geraldine (Gerry) Underdown Kelly, R.N., passed away in Tucson, Ariz. on Feb. 21, 2013. Born in Prescott, Ariz. on May 15, 1929, to Ethel and W.P. Underdown, she lived her life there except for attending and graduating from LA County General Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.
She and Frank B. Kelly were married in 1951. Throughout the years, she worked as a school nurse and for various doctors in Prescott. She was also a member of the PEO Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her husband and brother (Perry). She was the loving mother of Colleen and Kevin; grandmother of Rachel and Collin; sister of Louella Johnson and David Underdown.
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Centennial Center at Antelope Hills. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
