Services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Hampton Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~ The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, March 10, 2013 Paul V. Long Jr., 79, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. He was born June 17, 1933, in Kingman, Ariz. to Paul V. Long, Sr. and Marjorie Frances Hammon. As a young adult, Paul served as a Navy Corpsman in Corona, California. He later attended the University of Arizona where he received his Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees and also met his future wife, Faye. They later married in September 1959. Paul worked as a teacher, professional photographer and archaeologist. He was a member of the LDS church, served in the Scouting program, served as Director of the Smoki Museum and worked on several projects for the Forest Service. Paul is survived by his wife, Faye, of 53 years; two daughters, Shelby and Lori (Sean); and four grandchildren, Tyler, Connor, Trevor and Bailey. Friends and family are invited to a memorial at 1:45 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at Prescott National Cemetery. Information provided by survivors.
