BACA, Carmen Ida

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/12/2013 Carmen Ida Baca, 69, died Feb. 18, 2013, in Portland, Ore. from complications of diabetes. She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Concho. She was a graduate of Tempe Union High School. She is survived by her children: Helena Valdez, Robert Valdez, Juliet Valdez-Palmer, Vincent Valdez and Katie Baca Hetu. She was preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Baca, mother Ida Candelaria and brothers Gabriel and Gene Baca. Funeral services were held Feb. 25, in Tigard Ore. with Fr. Paul Materu presiding.
