Wallace I. Salzman, age 90, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Sunday after a brief illness. He was born Sept. 2, 1922, in Leapolis, Wis., to Clara Dahlman and William Salzman. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart decoration. He and his wife, Elayne, moved to Lake Havasu City in 1971 and he retired from the Lake Havasu City Water Division.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elayne; and two brothers, Earl and Roy. He is survived by two sons, Dennis (Christine) Salzman, of Overland Park, Kan., and Stanley (Valorie) Salzman, of Loveland Colo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A visitation and rosary will be Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Friday, at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Father Chauncey Winkler officiating. Burial will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
