Joseph Maurice Daigle passed away March 8, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 62. Joseph was born Nov. 26, 1950, to Maurice J. Daigle and Gilberte (Gamache) in Eagle Lake, Maine. On Sept. 10, 1968, at the age of 17, Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Army. After serving two tours during The Vietnam War, Joseph received the Award of the Army Commendation Medal and the Honor of the Purple Heart Award.
Joseph was a hard worker with a big heart. He created and ran multiple flexographic printing facilities. He also worked as a consultant to companies that hired him to turn things around. He has participated in the community through the VFW and American Legion.
Joseph was an accomplished businessman and will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the many employees and their families that he has helped over the years.
He is survived by his mother, Gilberte Hatfield, of Orange, Calif.; wife, Jacqueline (Fox) Daigle; brother, Leroy Daigle, of Orange, Calif.; sisters, Jessica Grove, of Mohnton, Pa., Joyce Meyer of Sparks, Nev.; and children Christopher (Jaime) Daigle, Justyn Daigle and Tami (Mike Van Rooy), of Lake Havasu City; as well as 13 nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren, Zoe, Lane and Will. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Daigle.
A memorial service will be at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City, Saturday, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Chad Garrison. Contributions can be made in Joseph's memory to Hospice of Havasu. Military Honors will be rendered by VFW Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81
