Marc J. Heinz
Marc was born in Kinsley, Kan., on Sept. 15, 1956, to Elmer J. Heinz and Ethel Jean Heinz. Marc graduated from Kinsley High School in 1974 and began his college career at Emporia State University's pre-pharmacy program.
He was accepted into the Kansas University School of Pharmacy in 1976, and graduated with a BS in pharmacy in 1980.
He began his pharmacy career in Kansas and later moved to Prescott, Ariz., where he spent 27 years as a pharmacist until he retired in 2010.
Marc's hobbies included collecting antiques and mineral spheres.
He also loved playing his guitars and photography. His favorite subjects were to juxtapose his surroundings by presenting his subjects in a way that would take them out of their original context and into the realm of the surreal.
Marc had many friends throughout his life who will miss his sense of humor, his ability to converse about any subject and his caring nature.
A memorial will be 3 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013, at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave. in Prescott, Ariz.
Services entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary, Prescott. For Marc's online guestbook, please visit www.heritagefuneralchapels.com.
