Griffith Mortuary Kearny, Az. 19 March 2013 Manuel "Chicken" J. Trujillo: 68 of Kearny, Arizona entered Eternal rest on Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona. Manuel was born to Manuel and Esther Trujillo in Ray, Arizona. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and quad riding. He worked at Kennecott and ASARCO as a Maintenance Mechanic at the Smelter for 30 years. He also worked for the Pinal County Sheriffs office as a reserve officer. He was a die hard Arizona Diamondbacks fan. Mr. Trujillo loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda, of 28 years. They were married on Valentine's Day February 14, 1984 in Show Low, Arizona. Children: Derrick (Stacey) York of Chandler, Az. Erin (Greg) Zaragoza of Kearny, Az. Meredith( the late Scott) Sayre of Gilbert, Az. Brandon (Kendra) York of Ft. Bliss Tx. Kristin (Rick) York-Romero of Queen Creek, Az. Kerri (Justin) Hune of Kearny, AZ. 24 Grand-children and Sister; Linda (Joe) Alday of Tucson, AZ. Manuel was preceeded in death by his parents: Manuel and Esther Trujillo and sisters, Sylvia Federico and Melba Sandoval.
