Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, March 20, 2013 - Ray Sander Lindstrom, 91, passed away in Lake Havasu City, March 13, 2013. He was born June 14, 1921 in Michigan, N.D. to Hilmer and Helen (Johnson) Lindstrom. Ray worked as a telephone engineer and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy where he received the Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal, American Area Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lindstrom, of Lake Havasu City; son, Steven Lindstrom, of La Canada, Calif.; brothers, Les Lindstrom, of Paso Robles, Calif. and Ralph Lindstrom, of Traceyton, Wash.; sisters, Bonnie DiMaggio, of Lake Alamore, Calif. and Grace Dirickson, of Foster City, Calif. Graveside services will be Thursday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Words of comfort by Pastor Chet Anderson. Military Honors by V.F.W. Post #9401 and American Legion Post #81.
