Dorraine Carpenter passed away March 15, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 80. She was born Aug. 7, 1932 in Detroit, Mich. to Irvin Morris and Sally Frances (Wygal).

Dorraine enjoyed reading, was a member of the Elks and has made Arizona her home for the last 33 years. She also worked at Mables women clothing and Miracle Ear.

Dorraine is survived by her son, Dave, of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Linda, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brother, Gorden Morris, of Detroit, Mich.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Carpenter; parents, Irvin and Sally and her sister, Della Wise.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at her son Dave’s residence 3322 Candlewood Dr., Saturday, March 23, at noon.
