Sharon (Sherry) Brown, age 60, of Cottonwood, passed away on Wednesday March 20th, 2013. She was born to Rex and Betty Watkins on September 11, 1952.
On February 15th, 1976, she married the love of her life Daniel Brown.
Together they raised their 5 children, mostly in the Cottonwood area.
Sharon was very family orientated, and considered most people her family. Sharon received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing and she worked at Verde Valley Medical Center as an RN/Case Manager.
Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents Rex and Betty Watkins, and her sister Kay Weightman.
She is survived by her husband Daniel Brown, her children Debbie and Scott Land of Phoenix. Az. Darlene and Brian Merrill of Cottonwood Az. Bruce and Eva (Ross) Thornbrugh of Prescott Az. Daniel and Kimberly Brown of Chino Valley Az. Dana Brown and Sam Huffman of Cottonwood Az. She is also survived by her brothers Danny and Tommy Watkins.
Sharon has 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild with a new great grandbaby on the way.
