The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/26/2013 Christina Leigh Sipes, 36, entered heaven Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage. Christina was born May 11, 1976, to Michael Lynn and Cheryl Lee (Pfeiffer) Sipes in Tucson. She grew up in Patagonia and moved to the Kenai Peninsula in 1999 with her husband Matthew Trevor Schjoll. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother, taking care of animals and most of all being with her family. She liked tending to other people as a waitress. Christina enjoyed riding and grooming her horses around the house and helping her kids compete in the rodeos. Christina was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Matthew Schjoll. Her family takes solace in the knowledge she will join Christopher in the arms of our Lord. Christina is survived by her spouse, Matt; three children: Tori Sipes, Tyler Schjoll and Makenzie Schjoll, all of Soldotna, Alaska; parents, Michael and Cheryl Sipes of Show Low; and sister Michele Murrietta and family of Tucson.
